Licking County Democratic Club!
Everyone's contributions truly make our club thrive, and your collaboration is greatly appreciated. In 2025, the Licking Co. Democratic Club: organized 6 rallies on the square involving thousands of volunteers, held meets and fundraisers for our candidates, participated in multiple parades and street fairs, began our highway clean-up program, collected donations for local community aid groups, launched "Actions from Home", sponsored potlucks, election watch and holiday parties, funded our office that was open 7 days a week most of the year, made sure the office was available for our candidates use, helped coordinate volunteers to work for our candidates, maintained our website, sent weekly email updates, and more...
We are compelled to share some key details about the club’s finances. We have basic monthly expenses to maintain our Licking Co. office of approximately $1,000. This includes rent, internet/phone, electricity, and insurance. In addition, we have expenses to participate in parades and street fairs, sponsor fundraisers and gatherings, maintain our website, email services and office supplies. Importantly, everyone at the club is a volunteer, so all donations go directly to maintaining our space and programs.
In 2025, we have 94 official club members @ $5 - $25/yr. Total membership income currently covers about two months of our annual office expenses. Ongoing support is vital to keeping our club running, and every donation helps maintain a welcoming space and valuable resources for all members.
To address these needs, if you are able, we are encouraging members to consider a donation beyond the $25 membership fee, possibly even monthly contributions. Together, we can ensure the club’s future and continued success. In addition, we welcome thoughts and ideas that can increase the Club's impact and success. Licking County Democrats work together to advance Democratic values within Licking County by educating voters, advocating for issues, and electing leaders at all levels of government. We are a welcoming community.
Our Meetings
The Licking County Young Democrats meet on the first Tuesday of each month from 7-8 PM at the local Democratic Club Office. For ZOOM details, check the events calendar.
The Licking County Democratic Club meets both VIRTUALLY and IN PERSON on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 PM at the local Democratic Club Office.

There is also a “Brainstorming Potluck” gathering on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, all are welcome to join. Please bring a dish to share and your own plates and utensils. 6:00-8:00 PM.
On the 4th Thursday of the month we gather for “Happy Hour” @ 6:00 PM - location moves around Licking County. There will be no Happy Hour on Thanksgiving or Christmas day
1st Saturday of the month 10:00AM - noon, Dem Club office for Donuts with Dems.
Meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about the party, our elected officials, and our candidates. We are here to support you! The Licking Co. Democratic Club funds and maintains the Licking Co. Democratic offices and this website.
The Licking County Central Committee meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM both virtually and at the Club office, 2054 Cherry Valley Rd. Newark. For meeting Zoom details, check the events calendar
