Saturday, July 4th, Granville 4th of July Parade, staging near Wildwood park at 9-10:00 AM, Parade at 11:00 AM. Everyone is welcome to march with the Democratic Club and our Candidates - wear your club or candidate T-shirts, available at the office. Bring candy…we can always use more! The parade ends at Broadway and Granger St. All marchers are invited to 494 N Granger St. (Tracee and Paul’s house) for a picnic following the parade. Traffic can be crazy, so it’s best to relax and let it calm down before trying to get back to your car. Register HERE

Friday, July 17th, Dem booth at the Alexandria Fun Days, 5:00-10:00PM. We need people to help set up and do the first shift (4:30-7:30) and do the 2nd shift with clean up (7:30-10:30). Sign up to help HERE


Saturday, Jul 18th, Adopt-a-Highway Licking Co Dem Club @ 8am - 11am. Meet at the Licking County Dem Club Office at 8am for a Safety Training and to sign the waivers (2054 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, OH 43055). We then we car pool out to our location—St Rte 161 and St Rte 310 Interchange. The minimum age for volunteers is 12. All participants must sign a waiver and view safety material (responsible adults must sign for everyone under 18). The waiver, will be available at the Dem Club Office, starting July 1, 2026. If you are unable to sign prior to the pick-up, you can sign on pick-up day. Trash bags and safety vests will be provided.

We Marched for ICE OUT FOR GOOD on SATURDAY, JAN. 10TH at the Newark Courthouse Square. We marched peacefully in honor of Renee Good and against the Fascist takeover of our country! Over 150 marched in the cold and rain!

Saturday, Oct. 18th, 1,200 Patriots were on the Courthouse Square in support of the Constitution of the United States of America! We sang, we marched, and we did it all Peacefully! Thank-you to all the volunteers who helped us have a joyful, peaceful, musical, meaningful event!

Fourth of July Parade and after party!

Success! Over 1000 showed up for our NO KINGS national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump admin. Next Date: July 17th!

Newark Strawberry Fest.

Our presence at the Strawberry Festival is especially important this year!

Volunteers will chat with fairgoers, promote our candidates and the Democratic platform, check voter registrations, gather petition signatures, eat strawberry shortcake and represent the Democratic Club in Licking County.
