Adopt a Highway Project

As part of our ongoing commitment to community service, the Licking County Democratic Club is pleased to announce that we are participating in the Ohio Department of Transportation's Adopt a Highway Program! Thank you to Club member Gloria Smith for sharing this idea and for coordinating our efforts!

We've adopted the on-ramps and off-ramps at Interstate 70 and Route 310.

The Ohio Department of Transportation has placed four signs designating our assigned areas.

We are responsible for cleaning up these areas four times a year:

• Early Spring
• After Memorial Day
• After the 4th of July
• After Labor Day

Our next scheduled clean up is Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Meet at the Speedway Station at Interstate 70 & State Route 310. Bring gloves and work boots.
